Learn the fundamental techniques required to achieve first round hits out to 800 + metres in the field. The focus of the class is on equipment setup, ballistic programs and the fundamentals of marksmanship  in this increasingly popular discipline. Intended for the beginner long range marksman but offers much value for more experienced shooters. The course follows the path of equipment setup, data gathering and target engagement at known distances.

Set up Equipment Pre-firing checks.

Reloading. Load developement methodology. Accuracy testing. Ladder testing. ES and SD.

Positional Shooting and obstacles. Tripods and rests.

Ammunition management.

Ballistic Programs, Cal DSF. Quick Dope, Wind tools.

Introduction to wind, concepts, direction, values and application.

Known Distance application shoots.
